Aggregate Source and Geology
The aggregates used in the manufacture of our precast units and sold locally are sourced just 3 miles from our precast manufacturing plant in Banagher, Co Offaly.

The aggregates are entirely of carboniferous age and are found here as a result of glacial deposition. The area known as an Esker is typical to the Irish landscape forming a large outcrop adjacent to lower lying areas. Having removed the topsoil, the material is a gravel-type product with large stones down to fine sand being typical.
